Why am I not losing weight when I exercise and diet?

If you’re exercising and dieting but not losing weight, you’re not alone. Weight loss is more complex than “calories in vs. calories out.” Several factors could be at play:

1. Hidden Calories**: Small snacks, drinks, or sauces can add up quickly.

2. Muscle Gain**: If you’re strength training, you might be gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat.

3. Stress: High stress levels can increase cortisol, leading to fat retention.

4. Sleep: Lack of sleep impacts hormones that regulate hunger and metabolism.

5. Consistency: Results take time, and plateaus are common. Stay patient and consistent!
